A necessary step in professional ski tuning is planing the sidewall. We especially recommend this step when working on the edge with a file. After removing the sidewall, the steel edge can be filed again more easily and precisely. It is sufficient to remove the sidewall a maximum of twice a year. This step is not necessarily required when grinding ski edges with the electric ski edge grinder ES 2000PLUS from raze-cat.
