Sustainability at raze-cat
Production – Quality from Europe
For us, sustainability begins as early as the manufacturing of our products. raze-cat private-label products are manufactured in southern Germany. Short transport routes, close cooperation with our partners in the region, and the highest quality standards enable resource-efficient production.
In manufacturing, we rely on high-quality materials such as rust-resistant precision components, anodized aluminum, and stainless steel. These ensure that our products have a long service life and make them reliable companions for many years.
Our range is complemented by selected branded products from renowned European manufacturers—including Toko and Vallorbe from Switzerland, Vola from France, and Snoli from Austria. In this way, we consciously focus on quality, short supply chains, and strong partnerships within Europe.
Repair instead of buying new
Long-lasting products are sustainability in practice for us. That is why we offer suitable replacement parts for many of our tools, so they can be used reliably for many years.
For our ES 2000PLUS, key wear parts such as guide rollers, drive rollers, and replacement plates are available at any time and can be replaced yourself in just a few simple steps. Should the machine ever require more extensive maintenance, we offer a repair service. The device is thoroughly inspected, serviced, and repaired if necessary—instead of being replaced.
We also offer accessories that further extend the service life of the machine. One example is our magnetic strip, which catches most of the grinding dust before it can enter the inside of the device.
We also provide replacement parts for many other products. For example, replacement screws for the CF-4 and FG100 file guides, as well as replacement blades for our sidewall planers, are available. Because we are convinced:
A product should be repairable—not need to be replaced.
Packaging – thoughtful rather than wasteful
We also make sure to use resources responsibly in our packaging. Wherever possible, we avoid plastic and use cardboard and paper packaging instead.
Our private-label products and electrical devices are delivered in sturdy boxes and thoughtfully designed packaging that is not only suitable for shipping but also ideal for safely storing the machines. This gives the packaging a long-term use.
For our own ski waxes, we use resealable bags. They reliably protect the wax from drying out and allow for clean, long-lasting storage.
For filling material, we primarily use recycled materials or paper to avoid unnecessary plastic and reduce the use of new raw materials.
Responsible shipping
We also want to do our part when it comes to shipping. That’s why we send our packages with DHL GoGreen Plus. By using alternative fuels and modern technologies within the DHL logistics network, the shipping-related greenhouse gas emissions (CO₂e) are reduced by at least 95%.
The achieved emissions reduction is proportionally allocated to each shipment, thereby reducing its CO₂e footprint. Although this does not mean that every individual package is transported exclusively by sustainable vehicles or through suitably equipped facilities, each shipment nevertheless supports the expansion of climate-friendly transport solutions.
In this way, together with DHL, we are helping make shipping more sustainable step by step.
