How many skis can I sharpen before I have to change the belt?
You can grind about 3-4 pairs of skis/boards with one belt. You really shouldn't use a belt for longer than that, as the grinding quality naturally decreases each time.
- Do I have to remove the sidewall before sanding?
This is not an absolutely necessary step, but is recommended to reduce the amount of dust generated. A plus point: the sanding belts last a little longer. -
When sanding with the machine, am I not removing too much edge?
