The CF-4 from raze-cat is our adjustable file guide available in four different angle sizes from 86° - 89°, featuring a curved file as a special characteristic. The center-of-gravity optimized edge grinder is perfectly suited for professional hand ski service. It is the only edge tuner/edge grinder worldwide that bends the file with its clamping mechanism. This guarantees you maximum precision in edge grinding with minimal effort. German quality product.
A curved file - why?
Bending the file creates a slight radius – so the file works only at its highest point and does not rest, as is often the case with conventional file guides, on two points. This allows you to file your ski and snowboard edges absolutely precisely and with less effort. We have milled this insight from the World Cup into pure aluminum for you.
The advantages of the CF-4 file guide:
- The file is bent by the clamping – unique worldwide
- 4-step adjustable from 86° - 89°
- Stable and pressure-free grinding thanks to solid own weight
- Two tilt clamping screws clamp the file without damaging it
- Stainless steel sliders ensure smooth and base-friendly gliding of the CF-4 when filing ski and snowboard edges
- Usable for all files and diamond files up to max. 5 mm thickness
- Ideal for snowboards with narrow waists and Magne-Traction edges
- Available in colors: Ice Blue | Racing Red | Pure Silver | Worldcup Orange
- Weight: approx. 400 g
INFO: Please note that the CF-4 file guide is not particularly suitable for sharpening stones due to the bending of the abrasive. For filing with a stone, it is best to use our FG100 file guide.
Sustainably produced – Made in Germany.
